The following are the Members of KCST's first Board of Trustees.
Mr. Abdul Lateef Al-Hamad
Mr. Al-Hamad is Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development in Kuwait. With more than 50 years of professional experience, he is also a Member of Kuwait's Higher Council of Education and a Member of the Board of Kuwait Investment Authority.
Ms. Nabeela Al-Mulla
Ms. Nabeela Al-Mulla was the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Ambassador-designate to the European Union and to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. She took her B.A. in Political Science and her M.A. in International Relations with Honours, from the American University of Beirut. Between 1977 and 1994 she served in the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York.
Dr. Nada Al-Mutawa
Dr. Nada Al-Mutawa is Head of the Strategic Studies Division at the Center of Gulf and Arabian Peninsula, Kuwait University. She received her PhD in International Relations from the American University of London and her MBA in Global Strategic Management from Maastricht School of Business. Dr A-Mutawa has been a guest speaker at many national and international events.
Mr. Jhangiani Tony Jashanmal
Mr. Jashanmal is the Executive Director and a member of the Board of Directors of the Jashanmal Group. He was born in Kuwait and educated in India and Switzerland. After completing his degree at the Hamburg School of Economics, he joined the group in 1973 as Managing Director of the Kuwait operations. During his career at Jashanmal he established several new businesses within the company in sectors such as print media, men's accessories, tobacco and fashion.
Mr. Minoo Patel
Mr. Minoo Patel is CFO and Board Member of AlMulla Group in Kuwait. Has been in Kuwait since 1983, the year he joined Yusuf A. Alghanim & Sons as Group Controller. He is founder and partner of Company of Science & Technology for Higher Education WLL, the parent company of KCST. Mr Patel is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Mumbai University. He has over 45 years of experience in Finance, Administration and Legal areas.
Dr. Khalid Al-Begain
Dr. Khalid Al-Begain is Professor of Mobile Computing and Networking, formerly Director of CEMAS (Centre of Excellence in Mobile Applications and Services) and Director of ICRC (Integrated Communications Research Centre), both at the University of South Wales, United Kingdom. He is currently President of ECMS (European Council for Modelling and Simulation). Dr. Khalid Al-Begain holds a PhD in Communications Engineering from Budapest University of Technology, Hungary.
Dr. Sachindra N. Maheshwari
Dr. Maheshwari is Professor Emeritus, Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India. Amongst the many professional appointments, he a Member of the Technical Evaluation Group, Central Board of Excise and Customs, Government of India and Head of the Scientific Computing Panel, Naval Research Board, Government of India. Dr. Maheshwari holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Northwestern University, USA
