Any student with a first semester cumulative GPA less than 2.00 shall receive a warning letter about his/her performance.
The second consecutive semester of performance with cumulative GPA less than 2.00 shall result in a notice of academic probation with a clear warning on the consequences of continued low performance.
If, at the end of the semester on probation, the cumulative GPA is above 2.00, the student returns to good standing.
If the student's GPA continues to be below 2.00 after the probation semester, he/she will be advised to withdraw from the program. In such cases there will be an opportunity to petition the President to allow the student to continue in the program.
