ACADEMIC PROBATION

  • Any student with a first semester cumulative GPA less than 2.00 shall receive a warning letter about his/her performance.
  • The second consecutive semester of performance with cumulative GPA less than 2.00 shall result in a notice of academic probation with a clear warning on the consequences of continued low performance.
  • If, at the end of the semester on probation, the cumulative GPA is above 2.00, the student returns to good standing.
  • If the student's GPA continues to be below 2.00 after the probation semester, he/she will be advised to withdraw from the program. In such cases there will be an opportunity to petition the President to allow the student to continue in the program.
