BEng. (ECE) graduates will be able to appreciate and apply the acquired knowledge and skill in designing, managing and maintaining information, communication and electronic systems in telecom organizations, manufacturing, industry and the environment as well as in the business sector. Graduates will be able to understand the impact of technological solutions and will be able to communicate their knowledge to a multidisciplinary audience.
In addition to the knowledge and skills in Electronics and Communication Engineering BEng. (ECE) graduates will have a good understanding of Industrial Control and Computing. They will possess the background and training to take up challenging positions in a variety of industries, with special emphasis on the communications and the production sectors of the economy.
A student will be awarded the degree of Bachelor in Electronic and Communications Engineering - BEng. (ECE) if he/she successfully completes a minimum of 144 credits as given below.
