I have been with KCST since the very early days, in 2015. From the start, I have agreed with the strategic orientation of the President, that is, to create a new "breed" of science and engineering professionals. Such an orientation might be summed up as the intention to provide the economy of Kuwait with professionals who are not only strong in the foundations and subject matter of our science/engineering majors, but also professionals who are abe to think independently, understand their environment (including their organizational environment) and to express themselves (in English) clearly and persuasively. My contribution has been in the development and implementation of courses (for the current and future science and engineering programs) and entire programs (for the future Faculty of Business Management) in the areas of Economics, Accounting, Finance, Management and Entrepreneurship. I have no doubt that within the next five years, KCST (and the future UTK-University of Technology in Kuwait) will be among the top private universities in the GCC.
Dr. Mohamed Trabelsi
In the last 11 years, I have been holding different teaching and research positions at Qatar University (QU), Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ), and Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST). I am an active Researcher in the field of Integration of Utility Scale PV Systems into SMART GRIDS across the hardware-software stack with grants worth over $6 million dollars with collaborators from international universities. I have been an Associate Professor with the department of Electronic and Communications Engineering (ECE) at KCST from September 2018. I have been teaching more than four courses such as EE 211 – Circuit Theory, EE 365 – Power Electronics, EE 351 – Control Systems and Instrumentation, and EE 101 – Introduction to Electrical Engineering. I am proud of my students at KCST. These students not only have strong academic background and excellent working experience, but they also fully commit, with great motivation, to work on advanced research subjects. My students’ research capabilities would compete with any other prestigious universities. Some of my students’ research project may be published on the first-class academic journal soon. Therefore, I am confident that KCST offers one of the best ECE programs in the Gulf region. Students will have more better opportunity to succeed than ever before in Electronic and Communications Engineering after completing the ECE program at KCST.

I haven’t seen anything but positivity and professionalism. Our distinctively colorful campus is safe, peaceful, lively, and well-equipped. It has all the essential facilities students, faculty members, and staff need such as a food court, indoor and outdoor seating areas, labs, a library, a clinic, auditoriums, up-to-date technology, a soccer field, and a vast shaded parking lot. Our campus is a 15-minute drive to the Avenues Mall and a 20-minute drive to downtown Kuwait. Our faculty members and staff aren’t only diverse, but they are also professional, easygoing, and highly trained to teach, support, and advise students at the post-secondary level. At KCST, we believe that students improve when they are challenged and pushed out of their comfort zones. Therefore, we adopt a learner-centered approach. Our students are actively involved in the learning process throughout their college life. In addition, we believe class size has a major impact on student achievement. For that reason, we have medium-sized classes to allow interaction among students and more individual attention from instructors to students. Just like our faculty members and staff, our students are dedicated and enthusiastic. The work environment here at KCST is eventful, positive, accommodating, and discrimination-free; everybody is welcome at KCST. English is the language of instruction and the mode of communication on campus. KCST is committed to research, professional development, and employee well-being. In a nutshell, everyone is highly appreciated and respected here. We really feel good about coming to work.

Being part of the KCST is a great honour for me. I admire and proud that we own the significant elements of success in our University in terms of the high quality of programs, experienced academic and staff, excellent campus, efficient organization for events, and perfect teaching facilities. This is obviously the golden key which distinguishes our talented and motivated students. Therefore, I would strongly recommend the KCST programs to who want to be really a future leader.
Dr Basil Al Othman
KCST is an amazing place that cares about its staff and students. I chose to work at KCST because it is one of the fastest growing universities in the country which contains many excellent facilities such as smart labs. It also strives to maintain the highest standards of educational innovation and adopts the latest technology in the field. This helps me impart knowledge in most effective way possible to our next generation of computer engineering professionals.

I am proud of being part of KCST for the past 3 years. Indeed, it is a great university. I have immensely enjoyed working here with talented people and good friends who make the perfect recipe for a strong team. The place is brand new, which makes it very attractive and helps in creating a great atmosphere. More importantly, KCST has achieved so much thanks to the great president it has been blessed with. On a personal level, his support and encouragement have enabled me to excel in my work and land my current position. In addition, KCST has created a pleasant multicultural environment which is distinguished by a harmonious collaboration in every team project that is carried out. Without any shred of doubt, this is a testimony of the strong core values that the university was founded upon. Thank you KCST for giving me the opportunity of being part of your team.

I love being at the KCST campus where it is full of activity, energy and enthusiasm of the youth. I also enjoy working with the high diversity of professionals and knowing that I am helping and providing my services for a good and a noble cause
Being part of the KCST family has allowed me to grow tremendously both as an academic & researcher. They continuously provide me with all the necessary tools to progress & reach new levels.
Working at KCST has influenced my personal & career progression tremendously. Their unique leadership & dedication to their staff encourage us to reach our full potential.
As a woman, the KCST leaders have been successful in providing all the resources necessary for both my personal & career growth. They have supported me without hesitation & encouraged me to push through any obstacles.
Leading by example, our KCST president inspires us to achieve excellence well beyond the classroom. We are continuously encouraged to pursue innovative & creative research to benefit the greater good. This has helped me enhance my abilities as an educator/researcher as well as give back to our community.
In just a few years, KCST has rapidly grown into a major player in Kuwait education. I feel myself a part of a team of highly professional specialists motivated to improve the level of knowledge, education, and research. I am very pleased to note that the high quality of teaching at KCST makes the programs among some of the best offered in the region. Moreover KCST is always expanding with new ideas and educational opportunities. It is a great pleasure and an honor for me to be part of KCST.
Dr. Reem Al Qenai
Putting aside KCST’s state of the art architecture and the cutting-edge technology, our best asset is our environment which is made up of who we work with and their attitudes. It’s what makes going to work something I continuously anticipate, as everyone is recognized, appreciated and our contributions make a real difference in our students’ educational paths as well as our colleagues career ladder.
I recently joined KCST as a MATH professor and I am extremely impressed by the whole team of caring staff and highly qualified faculty members. Student-centered learning environment, impressive infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities, laboratories, hands-on experience, and full access to caring professors, all that makes KCST a unique learning experience.
Watching KCST grow from only 16 students and a dozen staff members to over 1000 students and 100 staff members in just a few years makes me proud to be part of this tremendous development from the very beginning. KCST’s achievement is not solely its expansion but also, the university embrace of the goal to constantly improve the quality of its education, research and academic experience.
There is no doubt being a part of KCST means being a part of a great and magnificent team. Working with team of amazing professionals helped me in gaining new skills and improving the ones that I already had. It also expanded my knowledge and made me see things from different perspectives. KCST is the source of inspiration, innovation, and creativity in a great working environment. To me, I feel blessed to be a part of KCST academic staff and an honored to be surrounded by all these amazing people.
Huda Salim Abuaisha
At KCST I am surrounded by multicultural, highly educated and supportive colleagues from different departments. And although we come from different backgrounds and our tasks are not the same, our goals are unified; to continue to work hard in order to deliver the most up to date methods of teaching and to offer the best and most distinguished services to our students and the community as well. In fact KCST has played a major role during the Covid-19 pandemic, by providing frontline workers in Kuwait with face shields, which were made at KCST. Being a faculty member at KCST makes me feel proud, not only because of the reasons mentioned, but also because of the management's trust and confidence in us.
Mrs. Joicy John
I joined Kuwait College of Science & Technology in 2016 and am much impressed by its insights and culture. KCST is far more than an educational institution to me. The positive vibes, the novelties both in curricula and extracurricular activities that
KCST is providing to the students and staff are exceptional. Within a short span of time, KCST could par excellence in the region. I personally felt excellence, sociable attitude and care are
qualities that exude from the top and flow throughout the rest of the institution. Institution’s innovative approaches, research outputs, social involvements and media coverages have made me
feel proud of being at KCST.
I wish KCST to surmount more heights and more golden feathers to its crown.
I would like to write some honest words addressed to all the people of Kuwait, but particularly those living in Jahra. Rest assured that there is no shred of hypocrisy in these words. The main objective of our university is to build students with a strong character and enhanced leadership skills, which should enable them to grow into highly productive citizens in the future and with a great impact in their society. This aim becomes crystal clear with only a glance at our curriculum which combines engineering courses with management ones. Covering such comprehensive variety of course is definitely going to allow our graduates to function as efficient engineers and leaders in their life paths. In addition, our campus is equipped with many labs which boast some of the latest high-tech devices in each respective field. This has been mainly possible because of the high importance that our president puts on the practical side of the curriculum. Moreover, the fact that KCST has been playing such a constructive role in society, which has been lately materialized in being the only private university to offer unconditional support to our government in its fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, makes me immensely happy and proud. We managed to provide our frontline health heroes with thousands of protective face shields, which were exclusively produced in our high-tech lab with the contribution of our brilliant students
